The Boys’ Brigade is dependent on committed volunteer leaders who come from all walks of life to share their time, skills, passion and faith.
Many of our leaders come from within the Church family of which the Company is a part and see the work within BB as a practical expression of their Christian witness. Volunteers work across a variety of different roles within the Company, most directly supporting boys and young men, with a focus on building strong relationships. Leaders are supported by the BBNZ National Resource Centre who ensure leaders are registered having followed appropriate child safety procedures, or (where available, their local Battalion), having access to training that equips them with the skills required to lead their Company and a range of resources that enable them to deliver the program. - Find out about becoming a leader
