About

So you want to know more about Boys’ Brigade?

Our company is 10th Wellington. We are a Christian organisation offering a wide range of activities for all boys from as young as 6 through to age 19. We have a dedicated team of Christian male role models who lead the boys through these early stages of life, developing discipline, reverence, self respect and obedience and help them into becoming strong men for Christ.

So what do we offer?

Anchor & Team Section

This is for all boys aged 6 – 10 years old. We offer a wide range of activities that grow these boys in outdoor activities, crafts, hobbies and sports. We focus on providing these boys with experiences that they will hold onto, including Father & Son nights, camping and fishing off the wharf.

  • When: Thursday night (during school terms)
  • Time: 6:45pm – 8:00pm
  • Where: Hutt City Baptist Church – 132-146 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to send your son to either Anchor or Team Section. We would love to hear from you.

Company Section

This is for all boys aged 11 – 19 years old. This stage of life is often difficult for both boys and parents, and we hope that we can help develop these young boys into young men who will engage in the community and become the future role models not only of Boys’ Brigade, but for the wider society. We offer a wide range of experiences, from camps, tramps, abseiling and rock climbing, to arts, crafts and hobbies. There is opportunity to develop leadership on national leadership courses and organising and running of events. If you’re looking for something to do and want to get out more – Boys’ Brigade is for you!

  • When: Monday night (during school terms)
  • Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Where: Hutt City Baptist Church – 132-146 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to come along to Company Section.

Leaders

We are always looking for leaders to help run our programme. Please visit our leaders page for more information on what is required, expected and how to get involved.
