Term 4, 2007

Is it Term 4 already!?
It feels like only yesterday that I was sitting here writing out the Newsletter for Term 3. And what a Term it was. With badges being completed from Term 2, and new ones starting up (some of which took a while to do so…). Half way through the Term we had a successful trip to H2o Extreme.
At the end of the Term we participated in a Battalion event not to be missed! Cardboard wars. We had 11-12 boys turn up, which was more than the other two companies combined! We built, we fought and some of us conquered! I just want to extend my own personal thanks to those boys and families who made an effort to turn up for this event. Hopefully this will mean further participation in the future at various other events that the Battalion decide to run.
This term we look forward to having the return of Alan Dopson, who was unable to be with us last term due to study commitments. Tim Clark has requested to have this term off to spend time with his family, and we will miss his input into the proceedings at 10th Wellington this term.
The leaders have come up with a fun, outdoor based activity filled term including activities such as Guy Fawkes night, Squad Challenges and a Rambo Night, along with swift returns of the Beach Day Out at Petone Wharf and the ever present Games in the Park.
Labour Weekend Camp is not opperating in its usual capacity this term. Instead, we have opted for various activities around the Hutt Valley. See website for details.
Church Parade is also happening this Term, 25th of November. Please free up this date from other commitments to be there. The last couple of years have been an outstanding turn out, so lets keep up the passion and support us as we give the church an idea of what BB is all about.
End of Year prizegiving will be happening, but details of this have yet to be decided. We will keep you posted
